With over 300,000 people of Haitian descent living here in New York City, it is one of the best places to learn about Haiti and its history. Join us, to experience traditional, delicious Haitian teas firsthand hosted by Wynnie Lamour, founder of the Haitian Creole Language Institute. You will be walked through the healing properties of each tea while learning simultaneously about the different aspects of Haitian history. Sip on tea and enjoy freshly-baked Haitian bread and other traditional snacks, such as patties and cake.
